هنالك أخبار ظهرت في وقت سابق بأن نوكيا ستعتمد على معالجات من شركة ST-Ericsson لهواتفها واليوم تم تأكيد الأمر بحيث أن هواتف المزوده بنظام الويندوز فون من نوكيا ستستخدم منصة المعالجات NovaThor بدلا من معالجات كوالكم والتي أصبحت العنصر الأساسي لهواتف الويندوز فون وأيضا لاتوجد علامات بان المعالجات ستكون فقط حصريه لنوكيا لذالك من المرجح أن لايكون لنوكيا فقط .وللتذكير هذه الشركه مستنده على معمارية ARM وتحمل معالجات ثنائية النواه مثل U9500 وU8500 و U5500 .

NovaThor™ platform to enable Nokia to extend Windows Phone devices to new price points and geographies
Geneva, Switzerland, November 2, 2011 – Nokia has selected ST-Ericsson as a supplier for future devices it plans to introduce based on the Windows Phone mobile platform.
