الكل بدأ بطرح عدة حلول تمكن حاسبك من بثّ المحتويات إلى تلفاز الخاص بك عبر تقنية الوايرلس على سبيل المثال ASUS لديها WiCast وشركة HP لديها Wireless TV و BriteView لديها HDelight المشكلة الكبيره هنا أن الثلاثه بحجم ضخم ويتطلب منك وصله عبر منفذ HDMI و USB وهو أمر مزعج لبعض منا لكن لاتقلق الشركة AMIMON المسؤوله عن تقنية WHDI والتي قامة بتطوير قطعه أشبه ماتكون بذاكرة فلاشية ألا أنها تعمل بتقنية WHDI وكما ترون أمامكم هذه هي القطعه والتي لازالت أختبارية ولكن ستعطي بقية الشركات درسا أنهم عليهم تصغير حجم صناديقهم وبأمكان هذه القطعه بثّ 1080p بسرعة 60هرتز HD من حاسبك إلى شاشة التلفاز مباشرة .الأمر المؤسف هنا أنها لن نراها في الأسواق حتى نهاية العام القادم.

AMIMON Unveils the WHDI Stick for Easy Wireless PC to TV Connectivity
Compact WHDI Stick Wirelessly Brings All PC and Tablet Content and Games to the HDTV
Santa Clara, Calif. & Tokyo, Japan – October 5, 2010 – AMIMON, the market leader in wireless HDTV semiconductor solutions announced today the WHDI Stick™. The WHDI Stick is a new product design that showcases the slim PC-to-TV products that CE manufacturers will bring to market in 2011. The WHDI Stick products will be offered as a transmitter-receiver set; WHDI Stick transmitters will be also offered separately. Based on AMIMON’s AMN2120 WHDI Tx IC, the WHDI Stick products will be compliant with the WHDI™ (Wireless Home Digital Interface™) standard.
The WHDI Stick enables users to wirelessly view all of their tablet or notebook/netbook content on their TVs without the limitations of other solutions. With virtually no latency (less than one millisecond) users can now play their PC games and interactive content on the “big screen.” In addition to all other content, WHDI security and HDCP 2.0 copy protection allow the WHDI Stick to bring Blu-Ray movies and other copy-protected content to the HDTV.
The WHDI Stick is a true plug-n-play product, no installation is needed and it is OS independent. The WHDI Stick is the smallest WHDI product design to date. The 3.2×1.18x.61 inch (81.3×29.9×15.5 mm) transmitter plugs in directly to the HDMI port of the notebook/netbook and is powered by the USB port. The WHDI Stick will transmit the PC screen directly to TVs embedded with WHDI or to any TV using a WHDI receiver adapter that connects to the TV via HDMI.

AMIMON will be demonstrating the WHDI Stick at the CEATEC consumer electronics show in Tokyo, Japan.
The WHDI standard delivers the highest image quality in-room and multi-room HD wireless link, including uncompressed 1080p/60Hz HD video. WHDI utilizes a 40MHz channel in the 5GHz unlicensed band. WHDI includes support for all 3D formats required by the HDMI™ 1.4a specification and range of over 100 feet, through walls. WHDI supports HDCP revision 2.0, providing superior security and digital content protection, and full compatibility with HDMI.
